It is so important we pray. Prayer builds our relationship with the Lord. We can't connect to people if we never communicate with them and prayer is how we communicate with the Lord. We need to establish a relationship with him so that we are covered under his wing. We need to be protected by God we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against the principalities and rulers of the darkness. If we establish a relationship with God then that true light shines within us and darkness cannot dwell where there is light. We live in a dark world and we need protection from both seen and unseen dangers. We may have just a little flicker of light inside us however that little light can grow everytime we talk with God. Everyday we ask him for more of him and less of us he will give himself to us. He wants to, he loves us. Psalms 91 is his promise of protection to us. I encourage you to memorize and quote it often whenever you feel the darkness of this world attackingm you. He will cover you...

 

 

I don't often spend more than half an hour in prayer at one time, but I never go more than half an hour without praying. Smith Wigglesworth Remember to pray today. Every half an hour say thank you Jesus or Help me  Jesus whatever you need. And remember to pray for others as well. Ask the Lord to encorage those around you ask him to use you to encourage those people. prayer doesn't need to be long it just needs to be genuine. God wants to chat with us he wants to get to know us. So spend time getting to know the one who will never fail you.

 

 We serve an amazing God. Let's give him thanks and praise for being who he is and for all that he is capable of. We see his presence in the sunrise every morning. Make sure to thank him and tell him he's a good God whenever you pray.
