Read Psalm 39

Help me to stay silent in the presence of negative company or those who do not exalt you first. Do not let me rush about and strive to get rich when the only riches that matter are the ones stored up for me in my eternal home. Everything on this earth will pass away except for love, faith and hope. I praise you for loving me and I praise you for giving me something to hope for. I thank you for my faith in you. It keeps me going day and night. I praise you for protecting me and keeping me in a steady course even when I'm tempted to run astray. Thank you for ordering my steps, Lord.
