I hope ya'll enjoy the worship services at your church.  Songs are to encourage, edify, and exhort us.
The bible is filled with songs, some of these topics we still sing about today.

Here is a list of some of the songs from the bible.

Moses and Miriam: Exodus 15:1-18
Deborah and Barak: judges 5:1-31
Hannah: 1 Samuel 2:1-10
The Psalms are filled with songs 
David's song of deliverance Psalms 18 after a rescue from his enemies.
Song of Solomon
Isaiah 38:9-20
Song of Moses and the lamb: Revelation 15:3-4

  

Our worship teams are to help us connect to God. God speaks to us not just in preaching.
I encourage you to go to a church with good worship services where you can enjoy and be with others.
Being at church with those of like faith and purpose to sing of the good things of God together is what the Lord desires of us. It helps us to build each other up and to build ourselves up in the faith.
Worship also brings songs of deliverance, hope, and healing. 
In that kind of service where we all like the music our leaders and worship teams we can enjoy service.

Read Zephaniah 3:17 to be encouraged and remember that the Lord is looking out for you.

The songs of the bible have a similar topic and so should the ones we sing in church, they should remind us how great is our God. He is our deliverer our healer and we use songs to worship him and glorify him. Remember Ephesians 5:19 says to speak to yourself in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, making melody in your heart to the Lord. We've already talked about hymns and that they were written in hard times to encourage us.

Let us remember that the reason Grace's Corner was created was for us to do good and share with others. It was created as a tool of encouragement to help us edify the body of Christ. It was created with the goal of reaching one more soul. To tell others both the saved and lost that there is only one God who loves them no matter what.
