Lord I ask you to draw me closer to you and fill me with a desire to meditate on you. Help me to keep focusing on you and not my problems. Give me faith to stand firm and bear good fruits. Give me rest this evening and renew my strength by your spirit. Amen

Read Psalms 1 I praise the Lord for his blessings and thank him for the ability to meditate on his word day and night. I praise him for making me like a tree planted by streams of water, fruitful and prosperous. I praise the Lord for watching over me today. Amen

Savior. That is who you are. Thank you for saving me thank you for sending your son to die on the cross for my sins so that I have that choice to seek your face. Thank you for making a way for me to walk with you and for sending your holy Spirit to comfort us in our troubles. Thank you for making a way for us to communicate. Help me to be a reflection on your glory and love to shine bright enough for others to desire to seek your face too. As I lay down tonight I ask for you to give me rest so I may wake up refreshed with your spirit surrounding me. Amen.

 A quick update! I feel like the Lord wants us to wake up with psalms so from August to October we will be praising the Lord the way David did in the first 91 Psalms. Don't forget to do good and share with others Hebrews 13:16.

I praise you for all things. I have faith that you are working things out. You're moving things for my good. I put all my trust in you as I walk through the day experiencing the ups and downs of life. I praise you because I know where my joy comes from. I know where my hope lies and I lift my eyes to the hills to you Lord. Today I will not think on tomorrow because I'm only promised this moment with you. Thank you Jesus for waking me up this morning and walking with me throughout today.

Here I am Lord. I come as humbly as I can tonight to offer myself to you and to leave my burdens at your feet. I am here to be obedient and to take your yolk which is light and easy. I can't do it on my own because I wasn't meant to. I created to share with others and to live my life relying on your blessings. Help me to stay focused on the answer which is you Lord and my final destination instead of being focused on the problems that I'm facing. Here I am Lord, I am yours. As I lay down tonight I ask for you to give me rest so I may wake up refreshed with your spirit surrounding me. Amen.

I praise you for listening to me in the midnight hours when all hope seems lost. I praise you for hearing me cry out to you. I praise you for your blessings and I praise you for being faithful and true. You rode in on a white horse and delivered your people as humbly as you knew how. To this day and every day after you are still saving your children and I praise you for that. Thank you Jesus for waking me up this morning and walking with me throughout today.

I understand there is a time and season for everything that takes place under the sun. I understand that you have a perfect timing for everyone so I ask for your help in the waiting. I ask for your peace in the waiting. I ask for your love, mercy, grace, forgiveness in the waiting. Waiting isn't easy and you know that. I'm sure you've been expectant and hopeful before after all you're the creator of every good feeling but you also created sadness and anger. So you understand and I ask you to help me in this time of waiting to remember your plans are better than mine. Your timing is better than mine. As I lay down tonight I ask for you to give me rest so I may wake up refreshed with your spirit surrounding me. Amen.

Everyday brings a new challenge, a new situation, a new problem, a new view point. Let us this morning look with the eyes of the Lord let us taste and see his goodness today. Give him praise and thanks for a new opportunity, a new beginning. Give him praise for a new hope this morning. Each day brings a new hope and a new future. He has good plans for us. David said he will sing to Lord because you've dealt with him bountifully. I will praise you Lord when I don't feel like it and when I feel like it because you have good plans you knew me before anyone else, you knew me before anyone thought of me and that's enough reason to praise you. I praise you because you love me anyway. I do not have to fight the darkness alone because you are light. I do not have to be weary because you are my strength. I do not have to be afraid, you are my rock my firm foundation and I will stand strong in the faith. You've called me to be the salt of the earth and as I go out today I will produce good fruits. I praise you because joy comes in the morning and todays sorrow will not last. Thank you Jesus for waking me up this morning and walking with me throughout today.
