Our plans our dreams don't look anything like the plans God has for us.
He has good plans listen to this song and meditate on God's will for your life. When we learn to fully trust him he pours out his goodness and mercy on us.
Let's start with the basics. Remember the bedtime prayer we were taught as children. Now I lay me down to sleep. I pray the Lord my soul to keep. Are you still willing to give the Lord your soul? The word soul is defined as your emotions and desires. The Lord desires a relationship with us not where we ask him for things yes he promises to give us things but he also desires to get to know us he wants to know what we did today and he wants us to thank him for the opportunities he gave us to do the things we enjoy. Was someone inspired by you or did someone inspire you. Thank God for the opportunities and look forward to the opportunities he will bring into your life tomorrow. As you lay your head tonight pick one encouraging Bible verse write it down and place it under your pillow so that you will rest well tonight. Remember Joy comes in the morning.
They say it takes one month to form or quit a habit. What are some things you need to start doing or somethings you need to give up. We live in a world where we can easily be distracted and loose focus on our creator. God desires a true relationship with us; he yearns for daily encounters with us. He waits by the wireless phone all day waiting for us to dial him up through prayer and tell him all about our day. Lets form a habit together starting tomorrow anyone who signed (signs) up for Graces Inspirational Corner notifications will be sent an email containing a short prayer. Lets return back to our first love.
God cares for us more than he cares for the fruits and vegetables of the fields he cares for us more than the birds of the air and the fish of the sea. He prepared everything we would need to survive before he created us and he gave us power over all the things he made. He loves us and tends to us like a shepherd watching over his sheep. We are his livelihood. He desires a relationship with us. We are more valuable then anything else to him. He cares for us how do we thank him. Do we praose him during our prayer time do we even make time for genuine prayer anymore. Do we meditate on his word his love letter to us. Take some time this week to truly meditate on the word of God and talk to him let him know he's doing a good job.
